El agente Billy Nash busca la mansión perfecta en una nueva serie de televisión
By MICKEY ALAM KHAN and LISA KLEIN
A new television show featuring fabulous luxury real estate, and the process of finding the perfect property, is set to premiere this month.
“Mansion Quest,” starring Billy Nash of Nash Luxury and Illustrated Properties in Florida, follows the luxury real estate agent on his search to find the best of the best for his affluent clients.
“These buyers are smart and know what they want,” Mr. Nash, who previously hosted seven episodes of “Selling Mega Mansions,” said. “They also want ultra-luxury in their homes that rivals some of the most luxurious amenities they experience when traveling.”
The 12 episodes will air on the AWE – A Wealth of Entertainment network – through the spring and summer. The pilot episode, slated for sometime this month, showcases $20 million and $50 million homes in Jupiter and Palm Beach, Florida.
“We hear lots about A.I.,” Mr. Nash said of online trends in real estate. “But in my opinion, the luxury agent will continue to play a pivotal role in the luxury home purchasing process, now and in the future.
“It’s about relationships,” he said. “It’s hard to have a relationship with an iPad – it can’t go on a quest to find and negotiate a deal for you.”
Below, Mr. Nash discusses his in-person and on-TV quest for mansions.
What was the idea behind “Mansion Quest?”
Every luxury real estate deal I do has its own unique characteristics, challenges and storyline. I thought it would informative, fun and exciting to bring the viewer alongside me to experience what it’s like to be a top luxury sales agent in America.
What is the focus of your show?
The show puts me on a quest to find, on behalf of my ultra-high-net-worth clients, two incredible mansions – both on- or off-market – throughout Florida and across the country. We even have early plans to film a few episodes in Italy over the summer, including around Lake Como.
Who is your target audience?
Our audience is families who own multiple luxury properties, hard-working CEOs, lovers of beautiful real estate, realtors that want to be inspired, young people who are setting long-term goals for success, luxury travelers, luxury brands and the dreamers that know some day, with hard work, they could be living in one of the properties showcased.
Can you give us an idea of some of the episodes you have in mind?
“Mansion Quest” is not only about blockbuster properties, but the lifestyle that comes along with them.
We will have episodes that put me on a 72-hour quest, mansions for car collectors, art collectors, equestrian estates, mansions for yacht owners, private islands and many more.
What need does “Mansion Quest” fill on television?
With so many real estate reality television shows in the market, I wanted “Mansion Quest” to keep the drama out and show the hard work behind the scenes. And, at the end of the day, the mansion is the star of the show.
“Mansion Quest” will set the bar with incredible cinematic visuals that will keep the viewer glued to the screen every episode.
